Frontiers in Cooperative Banking Awards 2008

After the successful debut 2007, Banking Frontiers organized Frontiers in Cooperative Banking Awards 2008 in Mumbai where pioneering cooperative banks were honored for their best practices in business and technology areas. In 2007, 20 banks from among 100-plus banks all over India, were presented with the awards under various categories. This has generated a huge enthusiasm among the cooperative banks and created spirit of healthy competition. Some 300 bankers and technology professionals from 170 of the most progressive cooperative banks had attended the function and the event was a truly memorable one. In addition to the awards ceremony, there was an exhibition of latest banking technologies. Banking Frontiers laid the foundation for the awards by organizing a 10-city Cooperative Banking Roadmap, which has successfully covered cooperative banks across five states.
