ISACA Annual security conference 2007

Banking Frontiers partnered with Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), Mumbai, in organizing ISACA's 11th year Annual Conference, which was an international event. ISACA is the world's most reputed association of security and audit professionals and all the major standards in security and systems audit are set up either by ISACA or in consultation with ISACA. It provides certification for senior IT security professionals. ISACA had been organizing memorable annual conferences since 1999. The 11th year annual event was one of those important moments that all professionals and associated bodies were looking forward to. The participants at the conference included representatives from premier organizations in India and abroad and from the banking, manufacturing, insurance sectors, ITES, government departments and practicing professionals.

The theme at the event was “Value Delivery: Changing IT Perspective”.  The various topics discussed included:

• ValIT
• IT Governance & COBIT
• Service Oriented Architecture
• Legal and Crime handlings procedures
• Core banking
• SAP
• Human issues
• Incident handling issues

There were two tracks:
Track 1: Handling crimes, reporting, managing for legal considerations
Track 2: IS audit planning, preparations, conducting, and reporting.

In addition to the discussions, there were workshops for skill development.
